A Downstairs Powder Room, built to inspire and impress.
Our Client wanted elegance, unique touches and a fully bespoke room designed around their tastes in materials and finishes.
Installation
A room this bespoke had to be sequenced around the stonework. The 120x120cm slabs were dry-laid and pattern-matched before anything was fixed, so the veining runs continuously from floor to wall and through the recesses without breaking across a joint.
The wash area was built up in stages. The furniture was set and levelled first, then clad in polished porcelain cut to wrap the edges, before the Gessi Goccia bowl was seated and the ceiling spout aligned to it. Because the spout was measured to the bowl on site, its drop had to be fixed before the ceiling was closed up.
Lighting was first-fixed behind the mirror and into the recesses so the strips sit completely concealed, washing the stone with no visible source. The liquid metal ceiling was left until last, hand-worked in place by the artisan once the room was otherwise complete and protected.
The Finished Look
The finished suite is one of our most unique projects of 2026 with original and unique design touches.
The finished room features natural looking materials and a complete emphasis on stonework and patterned detail. Soft mood lighting around the mirror and recesses can change the atmosphere and emotion of the room depending on the client's preferences.
Our 120x120cm tiles allow for a seamless and consistent pattern across the walls and floor with minimal interruption to the detail and design of the surface.
A completely bespoke wash area features furniture cladded in polished porcelain and a Gessi Goccia washbowl varnished in copper, paired with a bespoke measured ceiling spout to match.
The ceiling, another completely bespoke design option used for this specific client, is a concept known by the artisan as liquid metal.
